Salinas, CA – On September 28, 2024, at approximately 8 PM, officers were dispatched to the victim of a shooting on the 1100 block of Pacific Ave. When Officers arrived, they located a 17-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Natividad Medical Center (NMC), where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Officers continued to investigate and located a second victim, a 40-year-old male with a gun shot wound to his leg. He was treated at NMC and released. Witnesses stated they saw three males fleeing the scene of the shooting and no vehicle description was given.

This is still a very active investigation, and we will not be releasing any more information at this time.
